Colorado Springs, 02-05 July 2005

Kim and I were invited to a wedding in Colorado Springs, so we drove via I-80 through Wyoming to Colorado Springs and spent a couple of days there. Prior to the wedding, we decided to go and visit the Garden of Gods, which is a natural park owned by the city of Colorado Springs. Garden of Gods is known for its famous sandrock formations with Pikes Peak within the view.

Two rocks meeting at a point, creating a natural portal.

Here is the reason why this is called the Gateway Rocks. These two formations acts as a gate to the park.
